Mikel Wilson, LPC, is dedicated to helping individuals create meaningful, lasting change. He combines advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) with a compassionate, client-centered approach that honors each person’s unique story, strengths, and goals.
Mikel partners collaboratively with clients to identify patterns of thinking, emotion, and behavior that may be contributing to distress or holding them back from true. Mikel helps individuals challenge maladaptive thought patterns, develop effective coping strategies, and build practical skills to manage anxiety, depression, stress, and other mood-related concerns. He strives to supports client in clarifying their values, resolving ambivalence, and strengthening the confidence needed to make sustainable, positive changes in their lives and in their mental health.
Mikel received his bachelor’s degree from Notre Dame College and his master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Carroll University. His goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to gain insight, build resilience, and move forward with clarity and purpose.
